Random Attack Defence

 

This is a one hour class that is designed to sharpen people's responses to random physical attacks. 

It is rigorous, physically active and is designed to help you perform your martial skills under pressure.  Safety is a major feature, so there is a stretch and warm up, clear articulation of boundaries and a focus on learning - not on winning or being "better" than someone else.

It is not a complete self defence class - nor is it a class that will fully prepare you for a "fight" as there is no adrenalin caused by fear or anger and it is within the known constraints of a training hall without any of the unexpected factors that can occur on the streets.  It is however a lot of fun and a good physical workout.  

Body armour and face shields are available.  As with all classes, a towel and water bottle are a must.   Loose, comfortable clothing is recommended.
